How We Work

1. Layout and forming
We measure, mark the layout, set the grade for drainage, and build clean forms. Old concrete gets demoed and hauled out first.
2. Base and reinforcement
Compacted base, rebar or wire mesh sized to the load, and the right slab thickness — 4 inches for walkways, thicker for driveways.
3. Pour and finish
Pour, screed, float, and finish — broom, stamped, or troweled. Control joints cut to manage cracking, then cure. Cleanup and a walk-through.

Poured concrete is the right call when:

- Your slab is cracked or sunken — a tear-out and repour fixes trip hazards and drainage problems for good.

What Affects the Cost of Concrete
Concrete pricing is per square foot plus finish and prep. Depends on:
- Square footage and thickness. Driveways need thicker, reinforced slabs than walkways, which raises the per-foot cost.
- Finish. Broom finish is the value pick; stamped, colored, and exposed-aggregate finishes are premium.
- Demolition. Tearing out and hauling an old slab adds to the scope.
- Reinforcement. Rebar, wire mesh, and base depth scale with the load the slab will carry.
- Site access and grading. Pump trucks, tight access, and re-grading for drainage add labor.
- Permit. Driveway approaches and some structural slabs need an Oxnard permit — we handle it.

Can you match my existing concrete?
We can come close on color and finish, but new concrete always cures a slightly different shade than old. For a seamless look, we’ll talk through repouring adjoining sections.
